The ESHSS are seeking new Council members! Would you like to be involved with our work, or know someone who would be interested? We welcome applications from any and all backgrounds, as long as you have a proven commitment to the study and/or practice of Scottish history.
As most of you will already know, our Society is dedicated to the study of Scottish history both inside and outside academia. We publish the ‘Journal of Scottish Historical Studies’, run conferences and workshops, and publish occasional monographs. We are especially keen to add to this list of activities in the next few years, and to build closer links to the archives and museums sectors. We also aim to develop our web and social media presence, so an expertise in those areas would be especially welcomed.
If you would like to become involved, please get in touch! Initial expressions of interest should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please spread the news across any and all networks you might be part of, and please do encourage any doctoral or postdoctoral researchers you know to consider joining us.
